Kent loved music. For those who cruised with him or jammed with him, you know. Entering into the late nineties, he began a musical project entitled Trust Jesus. It was recorded in a log cabin, just outside Columbia, Missouri, in an area called Deer Park. Kent recorded every instrument, with the exception of drums on My Horizon, laid down by Mat Matlack, and treatments on New Found Faith and Take You Away added by Kent's brother, Troy. Kent's main guitar was a silver burst Fender Strat Plus, and he loved the tone of that guitar coupled with a Fender tube amp. If you listen carefully, you'll hear his faith journey ringing out in the lyrics, a testament of his heart and soul.
